Bears picks: Our favorite prop bets for Bears-Packers Week 11 matchup

Editor’s note: The Bears play their 10th game this season on Sunday at Noon CT vs. the Patriots at Soldier Field in Chicago. What was supposed to be a get-right game for the Bears instead resulted in a complete shakeup offensively.

Following a 19-3 loss to the rebuilding Patriots, the Bears fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and elevated Thomas Brown to that post instead.

Will it result in a resurgence for the offense? Will it be enough to get the spiraling Bears back into the win column?

Our analysts provide their advice as they select the favorite prop bets for Week 11:

Scott Bair

Overall record heading into Week 11: 16-16
Caleb Williams: 190.5 passing yards – OVER
DJ Moore: 43.5 receiving yards – OVER
D’Andre Swift: 63.5 rushing yards – OVER
Total points: 40.5 – UNDER

Bair believes the offense will get a spark working under new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, but the uptick won’t be enough to best a well-coached Packers team coming off of a bye or score tons of points. That’s why we’re hammering the over on stats but not the total score for both teams, which seems a little high with the offense struggling and the defense remaining tough.

Tom Waddle

Overall record entering Week 11: 15-17
Josh Jacobs: 72.5 rush yds — OVER
Jayden Reed: 52.5 rec yds — OVER
Packers: 23.5 pts — OVER
Caleb Williams: 0.5 pass TDs — OVER

Given the Bears’ issues stopping the run on defense lately, Waddle is betting on a nice day for Packers running back Josh Jacobs. The Bears have allowed more than 21 points just once this season (Week 9 to the Cardinals) but Waddle thinks the Packers will top that total this Sunday.

Cole Wright

Overall record heading into Week 11: 13-16
T.J. Edwards: 0.25 sacks — OVER
Caleb Williams: 1+ pass TDs + 150+ pass yds (parlay)
Packers: -5.5 line
Game total: 40.5 points — UNDER

Wright believes Williams will throw his first passing touchdown in a month but ultimately thinks the Packers will cover the spread in a defensive battle between the two squads.

Lance Brozdowski

Overall record heading into Week 11: 9-15
Caleb Williams: 193.5 pass yds — OVER
Jordan Love: 0.5 INTs — OVER
DJ Moore: 45.5 rec yds — OVER
Game total: 40.5 pts — OVER

Unlike Wright, Brozdowski thinks the Bears and Packers will wind up scoring at least 41 points in this one. Along those same lines, he anticipates a turnover for Jordan Love while the Bears passing attack – namely Williams and Moore – get back on track with Brown calling the plays.
