NFL record predictions: How many Bears wins, losses in 2025 season?
The Chicago Bears have seemingly won the offseason in each of the past three years. However, winning the offseason hasn’t translated to wins on the field.
Now, the Bears are led by first-year head coach Ben Johnson and second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. Johnson’s offense put up big numbers in Detroit, and the hope is the Bears can resemble that and buck the narrative that “Chicago is the place where quarterbacks go to die.”
Marquee Sports Network’s Bears insider Scott Bair, along with co-hosts Carmen Vitali and Mike Norman, made their predictions for the 2025 Bears season on “The Chicago Football Show” this week.

Scott Bair: 10-7
After the Bears’ schedule was announced, Bair broke down each matchup and provided scores in his game-by-game predictions article. No spoilers, but let’s just say the last few weeks of the season for the Bears will be very interesting.
Mike Norman: 10-7
Norman predicted the Bears to go 10-7 and looked at the 2025 season with an optimistic view.
“10-7 is on the optimistic train, though, right?” Norman said on The Chicago Football Show. “I think that most fans would probably be a little bit more conservative there.”

Carmen Vitali: 8-9
“Just take a deep breath with me, guys,” Vitali said on the show. “The Bears can improve without winning the division, in the toughest division in football, playing the second toughest division in football (and) playing the third toughest division in football.”
Vitali is referring to the fact the Bears are scheduled to play both the AFC North and the NFC East, who are filled with playoff contending teams.
“My prediction, and I still think it’s pretty optimistic and I think it’s pretty good, is 8-9.” Vitali said.
Vitali believes the Bears could reach a higher ceiling, but obviously needs to see a few questions answered before predicting more success.
“What it looks like around the building? How are the Bears playing in these games? Are they close? Are they competitive? Do you see fight? Do you see a plan?” Vitali explained.
These are all fair points to take into consideration. We saw how the Bears’ season crumbled after their last-second loss to Washington last year. Pair that with Chicago facing the second-toughest schedule in the league based on 2024 win percentage, it’s tough to accurately pinpoint an exact win total. But that’s what makes these exercises so fun.
