

Local sports are on Marquee Sports Network!
Marquee is partnering with local high schools and colleges to bring you the Marquee Sports Network Community Showcase! These student-produced and student-broadcast events showcase the amazing talent within our community and represent the next generation of broadcast superstars. In addition to games being aired on the official home of the Chicago Cubs, schools chosen to be a part of Marquee’s Community Showcase get access to the following:
- Ability to work directly with Marquee talent and staff
- Virtual workshops for students
- Marquee studio experiences
- An on-site Marquee producer for games
- And more!

The Community Showcase began last Fall with a series of seven premier high school football matchups in the Chicagoland area. It also featured local IHSA boys and girls basketball games, plus amateur hockey games, including matchups from the Scholastic Hockey League and American Collegiate Hockey Association

High School Basketball – Marquee Sports Network aired nine IHSA high school basketball matchups beginning in January, including girls and boys high school basketball contests. Schools that hosted matchups on Marquee Sports Network include Prospect, Stevenson, Fenwick, Lane Tech, Niles North, Deerfield, Brother Rice and Saint Patrick.
Scholastic Hockey League (SHL) – Marquee Sports Network aired three SHL games (Illinois high school hockey) across December and January, featuring host schools Saint Viator and Glenbrook North.
Chicago Wolves Local Hockey Showcase – Marquee Sports Network aired five games from the Chicago Wolves Local Hockey Showcase at Allstate Arena, including four high school games and an ACHA matchup between Northwestern and Purdue.
As part of the Community Showcase, all games (excluding Scholastic Hockey League and Chicago Wolves showcase games) are produced and broadcasted by students at the respective home schools, allowing each school to showcase not only their on-the-field product, but their talented student broadcasters and television departments.
