Cubs president of business operations Crane Kenney joined the Dan Bernstein Show on 670 The Score Thursday morning to update Cubs fans on baseball’s return and a host of other topics.

Kenney was excited that there was good news to report on baseball’s return, given the last few months of the COVID-19 pandemic. He told Bernstein he anticipates having fans in the rooftops around Wrigley Field when the season kicks off on July 23 or 24.

“Even now, with the mayor’s phasing of the city’s reopening, we would be allowed to open the rooftops,” Kenney said. “Our expectation is the rooftops will be open for the first game.”
