How can I access Cubs games if I am outside of Chicago Cubs television territory?

If you are outside of the Cubs home television territory (per MLB rules), your only option to watch live Cubs games is via an MLB out-of-market package, which was true in 2019 before the launch of Marquee Sports Network and remains true today. What is a home television territory?

A home television territory is the area defined by Major League Baseball as being within a club’s home market. With the exception of national broadcasts, fans within the Cubs home television territory must have Marquee Sports Network to watch live Cubs games. To confirm if you are in-market or out-of-market, please enter your zip code in the Marquee Sports Network channel finder. Please note that Major League Baseball solely defines each club’s television territories and blackout restrictions.

Can I live stream Marquee Sports Network?

Yes! On iOS devices, Android devices, Apple TV, Fire TV or Roku, launch the Marquee Sports Network app, select your provider, sign-in with your provider credentials, and you will have full access to live streaming of Marquee Sports Network programming and Cubs games, if you reside in the Cubs broadcast territory (per MLB rules). Live streaming of Marquee Sports Network and Cubs games is available at no added cost to Marquee Sports Network subscribers of participating providers.

What providers are in my area?

Marquee Sports Network is available on more than 50 cable providers in portions of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin, as well as on the streaming platforms AT&T TV and FuboTV for those consumers without traditional cable. Do I need to subscribe to a service provider if I want to watch on the app?

Yes. In order to watch Marquee Sports Network programming on the app you will need to log-in with your provider credentials. Please contact your provider if you do not know your log-in credentials.
