Former Bears offensive coordinator Shane Waldron heading to Jacksonville

Former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Shane Waldron is heading down south to join the Jacksonville Jaguars coaching staff.
It will likely be in a pass-game coordinator position, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Waldron is reuniting with Liam Coen, who he spent time with from 2018-2020 as a member of the Los Angeles Rams staff.
Waldron was fired mid-season from the Bears after just 9 games, going 4-5 on the 2024 season. With Waldron as the offensive coordinator, the Bears sat in the bottom half of the league offensively, ranking 3rd worst in yards per game (277.7) and passing yards per game (169.6) and 9th worst in points per game (19.4) and rushing yards per game (108.1).
This is one the most recent additions to Coen’s staff as the new Jaguars head coach.
