CHICAGO — Marquee Sports Network has released its initial 2025 Chicago Cubs regular-season game broadcast and streaming schedule, starting next week with live, on-site coverage of the MLB Tokyo Series meetings with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Primary play-by-play announcer Jon “Boog” Sciambi, game analyst Jim Deshaies and field reporters Taylor McGregor and Elise Menaker return to the Marquee broadcast team this season. Alex Cohen, the 2023 Ballpark Digest Broadcaster of the Year with the Triple-A Iowa Cubs, will join Marquee as a backup play-by-play announcer and multiplatform contributor.

Cohen, Deshaies and McGregor will travel to Tokyo to broadcast the March 18 and March 19 games against the Dodgers (5:10 a.m. CT) with extensive postgame coverage. They also will broadcast the March 14 and March 16 exhibition contests against the Hanshin Tigers (10 p.m. CT) and Yomiuri Giants (5 a.m. CT).

Fans can watch on Marquee Sports Network as part of a participating cable or streaming package, plus Marquee Sports Network subscribers can stream all four game broadcasts on the app, which also will feature exclusive shows and other content from Tokyo.

The Cubs will participate in three other openers this season – the Arizona Diamondbacks’ March 27 home opener, the Athletics’ first game in West Sacramento, Calif., on March 31, and their own April 4 home opener against the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field. All three of those games and series will be broadcast on Marquee and streamed live on the app. Other notable Marquee games include the Dodgers’ April 22-23 visit to Wrigley, the July 18 and 20 home contests against the Boston Red Sox, and the Sept. 23-25 home series against the New York Mets.

The Marquee Sports Network app enhances the viewer experience, bringing fans closer to their favorite Chicago sports teams. Key features include:

  • Enhanced experience: Faster, smoother, simplified and more reliable streaming
  • Start-from-beginning option: Never miss a moment of Cubs baseball, even if you join the broadcast late
