Cubs 360 Daily: Clayton Kershaw, Anthony Rizzo not fans of proposed AZ plan
Jim Deshaies, Bruce Levine and Matt Spiegel joined host Cole Wright on Cubs 360 Daily, presented by Miller Lite, to discuss how players are not happy with the proposed Arizona plan.
Clayton Kershaw, Anthony Rizzo and other players have voiced their opinions on the proposed Arizona plan for baseball to start up this season.
Levine doesn’t believe this plan will work, despite how everybody wants baseball to start this summer.
“There’s a lot of holes in this [plan],” Levine said. “We’re all hopeful that baseball’s played, but it’s more likely that this is not going to be the plan. We’re going to have to look at baseball later this summer and maybe not at all.”
Deshaies gave his perspective if he was presented this Arizona plan back when he played.
“If I were in this position and somebody was to present it to me, ‘You can bring your family. We’ll put you in a nice hotel…We’re going to make make accommodations to where your life is very comfortable.’ I think you’re going to get a buy-in from a lot of players.”
