Cubs 360 Daily: Could the Baseball Hall of Fame be postponed?
Jim Deshaies, Bruce Levine and Matt Spiegel joined host Cole Wright on Cubs 360 Daily, presented by Miller Lite, to discuss the possibility of the Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony being postponed.
Levine believes that the logical thing to do is to have the ceremony postponed to 2021.
“You have to give these people their due. Some teleconference is not going to get it done for Jeter, Simmons, Miller and Walker. It’s not the right thing to do.”
Deshaies agrees with Levine’s idea of postponing to next year as well as including a bigger induction class.
“You push it back to next year. Combine this year’s class with next year’s class. This is an interesting class, because the guys who are polling the highest heading into this offseason’s ballot are Bonds, Clemens and Schilling.”
