Cubs 360 Daily: Greatest Cubs comeback
Carlos Peña, Bruce Levine and Tony Andracki joined host Cole Wright on Cubs 360 Daily to discuss which game is the greatest comeback in Cubs history.
Peña remembers his personal game when he was a member of the Cubs back in 2011:
“I saw that I hit a home run against the Nationals and I’m like, ‘That’s it. That’s my favorite one.’ I actually remember that. We ended up winning the game and it was crazy. We were down 8-0. So that’s my pick right there.”
Andracki believes the greatest Cubs comeback was Game 4 of the 2016 NLDS:
“The fact the Cubs were able to come back in that 9th inning rally and beat the Giants and finish off the NLDS right there without even coming back to Chicago for Game 5. That to me is the biggest comeback.”
Levine admits his greatest Cubs comeback was in 1989 against the Astros. Though, when asked to think of a more recent comeback, he agreed with Andracki on Game 4 of the 2016 NLDS that led to Cubs one step closer to the World Series.
