Cubs-Brewers postponed Monday night, doubleheader set for Tuesday

The Milwaukee Brewers are in town for their final trip to Wrigley Field in 2021.
But the series will have to wait a bit, as Monday night’s game was postponed due to weather in the Chicagoland area.
About a half hour before Alec Mills was set to throw his first pitch, the Cubs grounds crew rolled the “Reynolds Wrap” tarp onto the infield and the game was officially put into a delay.
Two hours later, the game was postponed.
The Cubs and Brewers will make it up as part of a split doubleheader Tuesday at Wrigley Field. The first game will begin at 1:20 p.m. and the second game will kick off at 7:05 p.m. Each game will be 7 innings.
Justin Steele was originally slated to make his first career MLB start Tuesday night. He will now take the ball for Game 1 while Mills will toss the nightcap.
Cubs Live! kicks off on Marquee Sports Network at 12:30 p.m. Another edition of the pregame show will air at 6:30 p.m.
Cubs Postgame Live! will follow each contest.
The Brewers made a pair of trips to Wrigley Field in April, winning 4 of the 6 games. They sit in 1st place in the NL Central, 5 games ahead of the 2nd-place Reds.
