Cubs-Cardinals rained out, makeup set for July

10 months agoTony Andracki

The Cubs-Cardinals game Friday night in St. Louis was rained out.

The start of the game was delayed due to weather in the area and about an hour-and-a-half after the scheduled start time, the contest was postponed.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on July 13. First pitch that day will be at 7:15 p.m. (with Game 1 of the doubleheader starting at 1:15 p.m.). That will be the final series of the first half heading into the All-Star Break.

The Cubs and Cardinals will kick off their current series Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on FOX. Jameson Taillon will pitch Saturday for the Cubs.
