Cubs legend Ryne Sandberg shared incredible news in his battle against cancer

Ryne Sandberg has made sure to keep fans updated during his battle with cancer.
He shared the best possible news Thursday.
“At 7:45 this morning, had my last treatment,” an emotional Sandberg said during the Cubs for a Cure Radiothon on 670 The Score. “All good.”
Sandberg announced in January that he had been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. He had announced in May that he was cancer free. Thursday marked his last session after “the original diagnosis was incurable cancer.”
“[At] 11:30, met my oncologist, he said the tests are great,” Sandberg said. “Cancer undetected, very manageable going forward and that’s the next plan.”
The Cubs for a Cure Radiothon on 670 The Score began at 10 a.m. on Thursday and will go for 24 hours. Saturday, the Cubs will have a ballpark celebration during their game against the Blue Jays.
