Cubs beat Mariners in Peoria slugfest
It started with Josh Phegley’s three run bomb, and the bats came back today for the Cubs as they hit lights out against the Mariners, 16-12. Four separate Cubs catchers now have homered in these last three games with Willson Contreras, Victor Caratini, P.J. Higgins and Phegley.
The Cubs now take on the Rockies on Tuesday at 2:05 p.m. on Marquee Sports Network.
