Miguel Amaya was out buying groceries in Huntsville, Ala. when he got a call from Michael Ryan, the Tennessee Smokies manager. He went to his hotel room and told him he was getting the call.

“Immediately I jumped to him, I hugged him and immediately called my parents,” Amaya will never forget the moment — and neither will any other current Cub — it’s the call of a lifetime.
