Day in the Life: Elise Menaker’s first Iowa Cubs broadcast

3 years agoStaff Report

Elise Menaker served as lead color analyst on Marquee Sports Network’s broadcast of the Iowa Cubs game on June 10. It was Menaker’s first game analyst assignment with the network as she worked alongside Iowa Cubs play-by-play broadcaster Alex Cohen.

Menaker has experience as a game analyst for college softball on Big Ten Network, in addition to her on-air roles as a reporter and studio host with both the Big Ten Network and Marquee Sports Network. A graduate of Cornell University, Menaker was a four-year starter on the softball team and was named to the Cornell Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2020.

Menaker will continue to join future I-Cubs broadcasts throughout the season. She joined Marquee Sports Network prior to the launch of the network in February of 2020.

The I-Cubs face the Omaha Storm Wednesday doubleheader at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Marquee Sports Network.
