Marquee Sports Network premieres ‘Football Heroes of Wrigley Field’

‘Football Heroes of Wrigley Field’ airs Monday, September 5 at 7 PM CT on Marquee Sports Network

CHICAGO – Marquee Sports Network this Monday is premiering a 30-minute look at the history of football at Wrigley Field and the Chicago Bears teams of the mid-20th century. Football Heroes of Wrigley Field includes archival footage from Wrigley Field and keys in on a few of the biggest names in Bears history, including George Halas, Dick Butkus and Gale Sayers.

Directed by Emmy Award-winning Stephen de Groot and Dutch Productions, the program features interviews with George McCaskey, former Bears Ronnie Bull and Ed O’Bradovich, as well as family members of Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo, as they discuss the memorable relationship between the two Bears icons.

“It was a tremendous honor to get to work on this documentary highlighting some of the biggest names in Chicago Bears history and stories from their memorable years at Wrigley Field,” said de Groot. “I’m looking forward to having it premiere on Marquee on September 5.”
