16 GAMES IN 16 DAYS BEGINS TONIGHT

Following an off day yesterday, the Cubs tonight begin a stretch of 16 games in 16 days, all on Marquee Sports Network. This week, the Cubs host the Mets for three games beginning tonight and the Brewers for three games starting Friday. Legendary Cubs radio broadcaster Pat Hughes will fill-in for Boog Sciambi on Sunday, marking his first regular season appearance on Marquee Sports Network.

 

CLASS IS IN SESSION BREAKS DOWN MLB ALL-STAR GAME DECISION

A new episode of Class is in Session with Doug Glanville presented by UI Health airs Friday at 5 p.m., immediately following Cubs Postgame Live! Glanville welcomes in Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward, former MLB player Curtis Granderson and MLB reporter Ken Rosenthal to discuss MLB’s decision to move the All-Star Game and the importance of the Players Alliance.

 

GREG MADDUX JOINS CHRIS & TELL

MLB Hall of Famer and former Cubs pitcher Greg Maddux joins Chris Myers on Chris & Tell presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois this Sunday at 5 p.m., immediately following Cubs post-game coverage. Myers catches up with Maddux to talk about his love for the Cubs organization, memories of playing at Wrigley Field and analyzing the state of today’s game.

 

HOMER HAPPY

Catch all the Cubs homers from the last week with the Toyota Cubs Home Run Replay of the Week, including Willson Contreras’ clutch game-winning homer at Milwaukee and a slew of homers on Saturday vs. the Braves.

 
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION

Marquee Sports Network this year is utilizing an additional camera position overlooking Gallagher Way, providing beautiful exterior shots of Wrigley Field and fans gathering outside of the ballpark. Check out the scene on Saturday during the Cubs’ 13-4 win over Atlanta.

 

BEHIND THE SCENES IN THE BROADCAST BOOTH

During last Wednesday’s Cubs game at Milwaukee, Boog and JD took fans behind the scenes into the Wrigley Field press box set up as they call road games remotely, including multiple screens and a pristine view of an empty Wrigley Field.

 
 
ALL ABOARD

Mired in an offensive slump, Marquee analyst Dan Plesac took it upon himself to bring the good vibes on Saturday’s pre-game show. And it worked as the Cubs blasted six homers in a 13-4 Cubs victory.
