CHICAGO – Marquee Sports Network is set to premiere an hour-long special going behind-the-scenes of Pat Hughes’ induction last month into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Icons of the Ivy: Pat Hughes presented by Sloan will premiere Thursday at 7 PM.
Icons of the Ivy will feature a number of elements captured during Hall of Fame Weekend, including Pat Hughes’ Hall of Speech, footage from across the weekend and exclusive interviews with Hughes and Cubs executives, plus highlights from Hughes’ career, including his best broadcasting calls and more.
“We congratulate Pat Hughes on his well-deserved honor as the 2023 Ford C. Frick Award recipient,” said Marquee Sports Network General Manager, Mike McCarthy. “Pat’s broadcast calls have captured, and elevated, many of the biggest moments in Cubs history and we look forward to sharing behind-the-scenes footage of his memorable weekend in Cooperstown as part of a special evening of programming on Marquee.”
