Michael Wilbon joined Cole Wright on Cubs 360 Daily, presented by Miller Lite to take a walk down memory lane where Wilbon delved into how much Ernie Banks meant to him when he was growing up on the southside of Chicago.

“It shaped part of my life. They were in the neighborhood. A lot players lived on the southside… Ernie Banks, Billy Williams and Fergie Jenkins were some of the obvious stars along with Ron Santo and others…We could see them. We could feel them. We could touch them. They weren’t living in gated communities in the late 60’s and early 70’s.”
