Ken Griffey Jr. is one of the greatest players to play the game and he is this week’s featured guest on the Off The Mound with Ryan Dempster podcast. 

In an extended interview with the Hall of Famer, Dempster talks baseball, life after the game, fatherhood and much more with one of the most iconic players in league history.

Junior was the first overall pick of the 1987 MLB Draft and a 13-time All-Star, 10-time Gold Glove winner and was the American League MVP in 1997 while playing for the Seattle Mariners. He spent the second half of his career with the Cincinnati Reds, adding to his home run total. The seven-time Silver Slugger amassed a staggering 630 career home runs, good enough for seventh all-time.
