Cubs relievers Jeremy Jeffress and Dillon Maples induced some awkward-looking swings during Thursday’s ballgame.

Jeffress struck out Rangers catcher Sam Huff on a nasty sinker running in on the hands in the second inning.

Maples allowed a run in the 3rd inning, but also fooled outfielder Leody Taveras badly on a pair of sliders.
