One unique lineup of only Cubs players, to win a big game…with a twist

This is not an all-time Cubs lineup or merely a list of the greatest players in franchise history. This is an Ultimate Cubs Lineup for one game only. We’ve included a unique wrinkle whereby if you played merely one game as a Cub, you qualify! Kenny Lofton is an Indians legend — we know that! But he also played a half-season on a Cubs playoff team, so he counts. And so does Ernie Banks, the greatest Cub of all-time!

Each person’s lineup is unique to them. It can be a mix of Hall of Famers, All-Stars or role players who can help win one big game. Some may prioritize power over contact or defense instead of offense. Others may select players with certain intangibles they think are necessary to win this one imaginary game. The pitcher can even hit 8th or anywhere you see fit. It’s your lineup.
