2025 NFL mock draft 2.0 roundup: Offensive line help linked to Bears at No. 10

2 weeks agoMatt Danielewicz

With a little over two weeks left before the end of the NFL season, the NFL draft order is almost set in stone.

More teams have been eliminated from the playoffs and coaching vacancies have been filled up, including Ben Johnson being named Bears head coach.

In most 2.0 mock drafts, offensive linemen are attached to the Bears at No. 10 while CBS Sports tags the leading college rusher with Johnson and the Bears.

Selecting offensive line help with the 10th pick is a major need and upgrade for the Bears and Johnson – while one mock could add another asset to the Bears running game.

Daniel Flick, Sports Illustrated

No. 10 overall: OT Will Campbell, LSU

Analysis: “The Bears should sprint to the podium if Campbell makes it to No. 10. Chicago has clear holes along its offensive line, and Campbell, despite length-related questions about his ability to stick at tackle or kick inside to guard, is a clear projection. The 6’6″, 323-pounder will be a plug-and-play starter wherever he goes, something the Bears desperately need after allowing an NFL-worst 68 sacks this season.”

Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, USA Today

No. 10 overall: OT Will Campbell, LSU

Analysis: “No matter who ends up as the Bears’ much-anticipated hire for head coach, the team’s offseason is bound to center on the effort to help Caleb Williams feel more at ease in Year 2. Campbell’s composure could set the right tone for Williams and the rest of an offensive line that has too often looked out of sorts.”

Connor Rogers, NBC Sports

No. 10 overall: OT Josh Simmons, Ohio State

Analysis: “Simmons suffered a season-ending knee injury in the sixth game of the season, but his performances leading up to that leave you wondering if he could’ve been the consensus top tackle in this draft. He has the light feet and balance to mold into an excellent pass-protecting left tackle, which should be a priority in front of Caleb Williams.”

Chris Trapasso, CBS Sports

No. 10 overall: RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State

Analysis: “How about a scenario in which the Cowboys don’t draft Ashton Jeanty … and Ben Johnson and the Bears land the premier running back in this class?”

Jason McIntyre, FOX Sports

No. 10 overall: OT Kelvin Banks, Texas

Analysis: “Bears have a glaring need on the offensive line. Worst offensive line in the division by a mile, and the Bears must fix this in the draft and free agency.”
