Almora details his offseason
Albert Almora Jr. joined Taylor McGregor in the middle of Wednesday’s game and detailed his offseason adjustments. He doesn’t feel like he’s still a finished product — “far from perfect,” he said — but he feels in a much better place now.
Almora also talked about his relationship with Ian Happ and how the two are able to maintain their friendship even while competing against each other for the starting centerfielder job.
Almora went 0-for-3 Wednesday with 2 strikeouts, but he’s still hitting .444 with a 1.33 OPS in 7 contests this spring.
