DJ Moore is going to be a Bear for a long time.

Following up on his stellar 1st season in Chicago, the wide receiver reached an agreement with the Bears on a 4-year, $110 million extension that keeps him under contract through the 2029 season.

The 27-year-old Moore has been one of the best – and most underrated – receivers in the NFL over his 6 seasons. In his 1st year with the Bears, he secured career highs across the board with 96 catches, 1,364 yards and 8 touchdowns.

The Bears acquired Moore as part of the trade with the Panthers in the spring of 2023 that sent the 1st overall pick to Carolina in exchange for the Panthers’ 1st and 2nd-round picks in 2023 as well as a 2024 1st-rounder and a 2025 2nd-rounder.

That 2024 1st-rounder ended up being Caleb Williams, the new face of the franchise. So that one trade brought the Bears the key pieces of their offensive core – which will be together for at least the next few years.

Moore joins rookie Rome Odunze and veteran Keenan Allen as Williams’ top wide receivers this season plus Cole Kmet and Gerald Everett at tight end and a running back room led by D’Andre Swift.
