How Bears can improve with Tom Waddle’s wishlist
The holiday season is a time for giving back — and, let’s be honest, asking for some gifts of your own.
Tom Waddle decided to partake in the latter and ask for some things he’d like to see from the Bears around the holidays on the latest episode of Bear Essentials.
The former Bear drew up a list of four items he’d like to see:
- Get quarterback Caleb Williams some offensive line help and an offensive minded coach
- An edge rusher opposite of Montez Sweat on the defensive side
- A new stadium — a “Bear-a-dise” built out in Arlington Heights
- For the NFL to review all QB-related penalties

Three of his wishes directly impact the Bears and are areas the team will be addressing this offseason in some capacity. The last one, albeit indirectly, also impacts the Bears and serves as a protection for Williams, who the Bears hope is their long-awaited franchise quarterback.
