Caleb Williams wasn’t at USC for long, but he made a significant impact. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2022 and led the No. 12-ranked Trojans to an 11-3 overall record. Last season was less successful from a team perspective, though he still put up video-game numbers with 3,633 passing yards, 30 touchdowns and just five interceptions.

Such excellence prompted USC to retire Williams’ No. 13. That was announced on Thursday, along with Reggie Bush’s jersey retirement. Both guys won Heisman Trophy awards with the school.

Williams also got serenaded by John Legend — yep, you read that right — and thanked for his contributions by several members of the USC family.
