Bears sign QB Austin Reed, 13 others to practice squad
LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Several players the Bears cut on Tuesday have returned to the fold after passing through waivers, as members of the practice squad. That includes quarterback Austin Reed, an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky who has been a main charter on Hard Knocks.

The list also includes some established players, most notably defensive back Tarvarius Moore. Receiver Collin Johnson, who had three catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns this preseason, was also brought back. The Bears have signed 14 players in total to their practice squad, but still have two open spots available before reaching the 16-man maximum. Expect this group to remain in some flux as the Bears roster shakes out and then settles heading into Week 1.
