WWE star Seth Rollins believes Bears can defy expectations in 2025 NFL season

According to WWE superstar Seth Rollins, anything is possible for the Bears under Ben Johnson.

Rollins, a noted Bears fan, commented on “Up and Adams with Kay Adams“, which airs weekdays at 10 AM on Marquee Sports Network.

“We are in the Ben Johnson era, so anything is possible at this point,” Rollins said while wearing a Bears jacket on Up and Adams. “Now you add in Ben Johnson, who is a proper head coach, no offense to Matt Eberflus.”

Rollins added that Johnson seems to be 180 degrees different from Eberfluus.

“[Johnson’s] got a leadership quality that I really like about him,” Rollins said. “Everything that you’ve heard coming out of the locker room in Chicago about his attention to detail seems completely 180 from the last regime. And look, you had a head coach getting fired, you had an OC getting fired, that’s really hard on a rookie quarterback.”

Rollins feels confident that the Bears will have success in 2025, despite a challenging schedule.

“There was a lot to deal with in Chicago last year,” Rollins said. “They underperformed. This year, they will overperform. The only thing that is going to be tricky is they have a very difficult schedule, a very difficult schedule. I know the NFL is different from year to year, but you look at the schedule, they play the AFC North, which is just stacked.”

Rollins, a five-time WWE champion and one of the most notable Bears fans, made headlines at the NFL Draft back in April, when he took to the stage in Green Bay and took several shots at the Packers fanbase and bragged about Caleb Williams’ record at Lambeau Field.

The Bears open the season against the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field on Monday Night Football on September 8.
