After serving 11 months in the military, First Lieutenant Michael Sullivan returned back home and to the Cubs.

Sullivan worked in the ticket department before his deployment overseas where he served in Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan. He was a member of a special operations joint task force in helping to defeat ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

While he was away, the Cubs held his job upon his return. He has been an account executive since 2018. On his first day back, the Cubs employees surprised him with a welcome back celebration.
