DJ Moore, D’Andre Swift active for Bears game vs. 49ers
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Bears left some uncertainty surrounding the playing status of running back D’Andre Swift and receiver DJ Moore, with both of them designated as questionable to play Sunday’s game versus the San Francisco 49ers.
They were ultimately given the green light to play this contest at Levi’s Stadium despite quadriceps injuries that prevented them from working much during the practice week.
Swift and Moore were limited on Friday and cleared to go on Sunday following pregame warmups.

Having Swift and Moore is a huge boon for the Bears, who are trying to stop a losing streak that has reached six games and is responsible for Shane Waldron and Matt Eberflus being let go.
Running back Roschon Johnson, safety Elijah Hicks and interior offensive lineman Ryan Bates were ruled out on Friday on the team’s official injury report. The only surprise on the inactives list is Larry Borom has a healthy scratch. He had been the primary swing tackle since returning from injured reserve, but he has struggled of late and the team is giving third-round rookie Kiran Amegadjie a shot at the job behind starters Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright.
