With the DNC in Chicago, it led to a hilarious moment at Wrigley Field
The Democratic National Convention has descended upon Chicago this week, taking the city by storm.
It began with Stephen Colbert and “The Late Show” crew at Wrigley Field for the first game of Cubs-Blue Jays last Friday.
And it also led to a classic interaction at Wrigley Field Wednesday morning.

Doug Emhoff, the second gentleman (the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris), was among a group of 200 Democrats who donated money to the Harris campaign for an opportunity to take batting practice on historic Wrigley Field.
In addition to taking swings, however, Emhoff and the rest of the group also had a hilarious interaction, as Politico detailed.
Apparently the group was informed they could not step on the grass and had to remain on the warning track dirt.
But they then saw a woman stroll by on the grass and asked a Cubs staff member why she could walk on the grass and they could not.
“Because she owns the Cubs,” was the response, informing a group who did not recognize Laura Ricketts.
