FS1 host predicts the Bears will go to the Super Bowl this season

A No. 1 overall pick has never gone to the Super Bowl in their rookie season.
Then again, No. 1 overall picks rarely step into a situation with two Pro Bowl WRs, a young tight end on the rise, and a defense that was Top 5 in terms of takeaways the previous year. Add in a fellow Top 10 draft pick with a running game that ranked 2nd in yards per game in 2023, and now that No. 1 pick has a chance at making NFL history.
Caleb Williams has the supporting cast around him to make a run in the NFC, and according to TV personality Nick Wright, that’s exactly what he’ll do:
Wright points to young QBs Brock Purdy and CJ Stroud, who in previous seasons had postseason success as rookies.

“I know what’s going to happen by this time tomorrow,” Wright said on Fox Sports 1’s “First Things First”. “Everyone is going to want to flirt with the Bears to the Super Bowl take.”
Wright is referring to the buzz around the Bears being featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks, which premieres Tuesday night.
The Bears may have a growing list of believers, but work still needs to be done. They are +105 to make the postseason and 23/1 to win the NFC, according to Circa Sports Illinois.
