Out of all the quarterbacks that former Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey played for, one stood out: his signal-caller in Chicago, Jay Cutler.

According to Jeffery, Cutler was willing to make adjustments for him, too, not just the other way around.

“Me and him, he’d break it down to film,” Jeffrey said on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast. “But also, he’d be like ‘Alshon, do what you do and I’ll make an adjustment.’”

Jeffery and Cutler played together in Chicago from 2012 to 2016, where Jeffery caught 26 touchdowns as a Bear. The 9-year, NFL veteran caught 20 touchdown passes from Cutler, the most from any quarterback in his career.
