Stand Up to Cancer: Cubs, Blue Jays take part in touching moment at Wrigley Field
During the 4th inning of Saturday’s game, the Cubs and Blue Jays participated in an emotional moment at Wrigley Field.
Players and coaches from both teams lined up outside their dugout as part of Stand Up to Cancer, holding up signs with names and written in permanent marker.

Many of the 38,755 fans in attendance at Wrigley Field also joined the two squads with signs of their own and persistent cheers as the moment lasted for several minutes.

Saturday marked the main day for Cubs for a Cure, a fundraising event that began with a radiothon on 670 The Score Thursday morning (the Cubs’ off-day).
