Who is the biggest Cubs rival?
Bruce Levine, Jim Deshaies and Pete McMurray joined Cole Wright on Cubs 360 Daily, presented by Miller Lite, to answer the question: Who is the Cubs’ biggest rival?
Levine pointed out one of the biggest ones in the NL Central.
“It quickly became the Cubs-Cardinals rivalry. Three hundred miles between the [two teams],” Levine said. “The fanbase is split in half between the top of Illinois and the bottom of Illinois with the Cardinal fans being down in the southern Illinois area.”
McMurray brought up a more recent rival with the Cubs.
“It’s also fun to hate the Milwaukee Brewers,” McMurray said. “It’s got to be a team in your division, sure. It’s fun in the same city, but the St. Louis Cardinals would be my pick.”
