CHICAGO — The Bears designated three starters as questionable to play against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Soldier Field. All of them will be available for this Week 4 contest.

Receiver Keenan Allen, defensive tackle Andrew Billings and safety Kevin Byard III were not among the team’s inactives, released 90 minutes before kickoff.

Head coach Matt Eberflus said he believed that Allen would play after missing two games with a heel issue, and that premonition was correct. Allen was listed as active and will provide a significant boost to a passing game in need of his quick separation ability. He enters the fray a game after Rome Odunze and Cole Kmet made their mark, providing quality options for quarterback Caleb Williams.

Having Billings and Byard available is also a big deal. Billings has provided solid interior pressure this season, a key component to stopping pocket passer Matthew Stafford. Byard is a vital cog in a secondary that stands as this team’s strength.

Here’s the full list of Bears inactives:

  • RB/WR Velus Jones Jr.
  • FB Khari Blasingame
  • DL Dominique Robinson
  • DB Terrell Smith
  • OL Bill Murray
  • DT Zacch Pickens
