NFL schedule 2025: Bears, Eagles set for Black Friday prime-time game

1 month agoScott Bair

The full 2025 NFL schedule won’t be released until Wednesday night, but we already know two parts of the Chicago Bears’ 17-game slate.

They’ll play a nationally televised game against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. The game will begin at 2 p.m. CT at Lincoln Financial Field and stream live on Amazon Prime Video, it was announced Monday.

The league is announcing some prime-time games to tease its schedule release and, well, expand the spring news cycle to focus on the NFL.

FOX announced earlier Monday that the Bears would play a Dec. 20 game against the NFC North rival Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field.

Those are two big-time games in big-time slots, and expect more for the Bears in 2025, despite their 5-12 record last season. New coach Ben Johnson is an attraction, as are Chicago’s offseason additions made on both sides of the ball.

The Bears will have several tough games no matter when they’re played, with the AFC North, NFC East and two games each against their NFC North rivals on their 2025 schedule. That’s seven playoff teams from those three divisions alone.

The Bears also will play road games against the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and Las Vegas Raiders next season. Also coming to Soldier Field will be the Lions, Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints.

The 2025 regular season is scheduled to end on Jan. 4, 2026, with the playoffs starting on Jan. 10. Super Bowl LX will be held Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
