Sky’s Kahleah Copper named 2023 All-Star reserve

11 months agoKarli Bell

Kahleah Copper is the lone Chicago Sky representative in the 2023 WNBA All-Star game as a reserve, making this her third straight All-Star selection.

Copper is averaging 16.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 41.7% from the floor through the first 14 games of the season. She moved into the Top 5 in franchise leaderboards in games played, made field goals and most recently surpassed Elena Delle Donne on the all-time points list.

“I think it’s special. You never get bored with the success of things that happen in your career. I think it will be another moment for me to take it all in. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right?” Copper said on Tuesday.

The 2023 WNBA All-Star game is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 15th in Las Vegas on ABC.
