Kris Bryant is now a father.

Kris Bryant and his wife Jessica welcomed in their first child and son, Kyler Lee Bryant, on April 7th. The Cubs third baseman announced the birth on his Twitter.

Back in February, Marquee Sports Network’s Taylor McGregor spoke with Bryant about becoming a dad this season. 

“Honestly, this is what I was put on this earth to do is to be a dad.”
