Jon Lester has a contagious attitude, one that his manager and former teammate David Ross is well aware of. 

“The winning follows him around,” Ross said on Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster. “What he’s done here, changed the culture, he changed the expectations.” 

His winning attitude helped spark the Cubs to the 2016 World Series, one that Ross was a part of as a catcher. Ross acknowledged the impact Lester has had on the team and what he’s meant to Chicago.
