Legends Week concludes with 2016 Cubs
See many of the top players in Cubs history shine in big moments during Legends Week. You won’t want to miss Game 7 of the 2016 World Series as a part of Cubs Classics tonight at 8:30 p.m. on Marquee Sports Network.
Friday at 8:30 p.m.
November 2, 2016 – Cubs at Indians: The World Series drought came to an end with an epic Game 7 win to become champions. It took 10 innings and nearly some late heroics from Ben Zobrist and an insurance run compliments of Miguel Montero to setup an ending generations of Cubs fans had only dreamt of to that point. Kris Bryant fielded a ball hit by Michael Martinez and tossed it across the diamond as his momentum carried him forward. When the ball hit Anthony Rizzo’s glove, Chicago rejoiced.
