NFL schedule release 2025: Tracking Bears game updates as news breaks
The 2025 Bears schedule will be formally announced on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT. Parts of it have already been announced. Other segments will leak over the course of the day, despite the league’s best efforts at a grand unveiling.
That said, the NFL is trying to dominate three straight news cycles, with early announcements of significant games. The Bears were involved in two of them, as you’ll see below.

Wednesday, 2:15 p.m. CT
We now know both sides of the 2025 series with the Vikings. The Bears will travel to Minnesota for a divisional clash on Nov. 16.
Wednesday, 11:10 a.m. CT
The primetime games keep stacking up. The Bears will return to the nation’s capital and face the Commanders in a Week 6 game on Monday Night Football, per JP Findlay of NBC 4 in Washington. This will be a rematch of an epic game that ended with a controversial hail mary that sent the Bears season into a tailspin.
Wednesday, 10:54 a.m. CT
The Bears open their season on Monday Night Football, against the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings, per Jordan Schultz. It will mark Ben Johnson’s first game as Bears head coach.
Monday, 6:00 p.m. CT
The Bears will play the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. That game will be played at Lincoln Financial Field at stream on Amazon Prime starting at 2 p.m. CT.
Monday, 4:07 p.m. CT
The Bears will host the Green Bay Packers in a Week 16 showdown at Solider Field. The Dec. 20 affair will air on FOX at either 3:30 p.m. or 6 p.m. CT.
