The Chicago Sky keep racking up awards in the 2022 season, and head coach/general manager James Wade adds on to it after being named the WNBA Coach of the Month.

Wade led the Sky to a 9-2 record over the month of June, pushing them in to the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference with an overall record of 15-5. Chicago also leads the league in 24 assists per game and is second in the league for points per game with an average of 86.

The announcement comes shortly after Wade earned a spot to coach in the WNBA All-Star Game for Team Stewart. He will coach two of his Sky players in Kahleah Copper and Emma Meesseman. The All-Star Game is set for July 10th in Chicago with a tip time of 12 p.m.

Chicago is currently riding a 5-game winning streak. They look to continue that before the All-Star Break on Wednesday, July 6th when they take on the Minnesota Lynx. Tip time is set for 12 p.m. on Marquee Plus.
