Sky add more veteran presence with signing of Kia Nurse

Just minutes after acquiring Rebecca Allen, the Chicago Sky added yet another veteran guard with the signing of free agent Kia Nurse.
Nurse spent last season with the Los Angeles Sparks, averaging 7.6 points a game while shooting 38.8% from the floor and 33.1% from the arc. She also maintains control with her career turnover ratio hovering at only 10%.
Nurse is entering her 7th season in the WNBA, adding another leader in the back court to aid in the development of Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. She also provides another efficient 3-point shot – a key component that new head coach Tyler Marsh wanted in his 2025 roster.
This now brings the roster up to 9 with Nurse, Allen, Vandersloot, Michaela Onyenwere, Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, Elizabeth Williams, Rachel Banham and Moriah Jefferson.
